Ukrainian design brands presented the MODERN_ISM joint project at the Milan Design Week international exhibition.
Milan Design Week, the largest event in the field of European interior and furniture design, is taking place in Italy from April 9 to 14. As part of the design week, the Superstudio Expo center is on display joint Ukrainian project MODERN_ISM, which united seven brands - Natasha Yegorova (Tasha Oro), Evgenia Puklicha (container), Oksana Levcheny (OLK_MANUFACTORY), Masha Reva (Masha Reva X Nadiia), Kateryna Sokolova (NOOM), Yuri Ryntovt (Ryntovt Design) and Svoya Studio.
The goal of the MODERN_ISM project is to show the reinterpreted history of Ukrainian modernism, its simplicity, energy and innovative solutions to current problems.
The organizers were the Prostir86 platform, the Foundation Art-East + Art-West with the support of the Ukrainian Institute. The curators of the project are architect Olga Bogdanova, designer Kateryna Sokolova, cultural manager Elena Oranskaya and coordinator Daria Ignatieva.
