In the heart of Geneva, along the lakeside promenade with panoramic views of the lake and its legendary fountain, lies Martini Apartment — a project where architecture unfolds like a cinematic frame.
A large panoramic window opens onto sunsets over the water, creating a view that feels almost like a postcard. It was this very scene that inspired the apartment’s name: Martini — a symbol of lightness, elegance, and the art of savoring the moment.
The apartment occupies the top floor of a historic building currently undergoing renovation and came to us as an open-plan space. The area oriented toward the lake was designed as a single, fluid volume, bringing together the kitchen, the living room with a fireplace lounge, and a library with a dedicated workspace.

This space is located beneath the slope of the roof.
The incline of the ceiling is almost imperceptible, yet it required delicate architectural solutions: the kitchen area was recessed into the wall, forming a niche with arched finishes that gently soften the geometry of the space.

The living room is fully oriented toward the view from the window, which becomes the main focal point of the space. Here, a vintage Eames armchair from the client’s collection adds a layer of personal history to the interior.

The corridor continues the home’s overall narrative, with classical wall panels and decorative frames that highlight the character of its historical heritage. Beyond it unfolds the private area of the apartment, composed of the master bedroom and a guest room.

The spacious bedroom combines two functions — rest and wardrobe.
Behind the bed, a decorative panel framed in wood evokes the composition of a triptych. The three windows were visually extended by finishing their lower sections with polished stainless-steel sheets. These reflective surfaces create the illusion of full-height French windows, amplifying light and enhancing the sense of openness in the space.

The walk-in wardrobe is designed in a restrained classical style, with wall panels that echo the motifs of the main interior. Within the bedroom, another vintage armchair from the client’s collection is integrated into the space — a detail that adds a personal layer and a sense of character to the room.

A ventilation shaft ran through the center of one of the bathroom walls, so we extended this wall to form two separate volumes — the shower and the WC.
This architectural block is finished in Fantasy Green marble, adding a sculptural accent and depth to the space.

The bathroom has no natural daylight, so we created the illusion of a window. Behind its frame is a light panel with a landscape image, allowing the temperature and intensity of the lighting to be adjusted. The shutters can be opened and closed, enhancing the sense of realism.
The bathtub is placed directly beneath this “window,” while opposite it stands a large washbasin crafted from the same Fantasy Green marble. Above it are bespoke mirrors designed from our sketches in a timeless style.
All the remaining walls of the bathroom are finished in microcement — one of our signature solutions that keeps the focus on the stone while subtly emphasizing its natural beauty.

In the guest bathroom, we continued the theme of arches and introduced a subtle tropical atmosphere through wallpaper — an accent that enlivens the restrained palette of the main interior.
